Samuli Laine
Samuli Laine is a scenographer, facilitator and a live artist who works with themes related to interdependence, relations and care. The resulting works are often multidisciplinary, curious, and try to find new intersections between political engagement and art. Laine is a member of both WAUHAUS and Reality Research Center. He has a long history in collective art making and a keen interest in examining the structures that shape how we work and interact together. In addition to art making, teaching, and mentoring, Laine has been operating with various forms of civic engagement. He also practices gardening, zazen and kickboxing.
