Juni Klein
Juni Klein (b. 1982) is a Helsinki-based director and dramaturg who works with performances in the fields of theatre, dance, live art and visual arts. Klein graduated as a director from the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki in 2009. In addition to working at WAUHAUS, they have been a guest lecturer at the University of the Arts since 2013. They have also worked as a curator at Hangö Teaterträff from 2017–2021.
For Klein, the stage is a place for retelling and fantasising. They are currently interested in issues of gender, ecology, pleasure, transformations and sexuality.
